The SPARK Club is an enrichment program offered to the students at Gateway School Complex in the City of St. Louis who have a physical or intellectual disability. The program is offered Monday – Thursday from 3 to 5 p.m. and includes enriching activities, community field trips, a healthy snack, and accessible transportation home. Students have the opportunity to attend a Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday session.

While attending SPARK Club, students will have an opportunity to practice skills including developing relationships, communicating with others, monetary transactions, and safety awareness in their community.

Now Hiring for Part-time Positions with the SPARK Club

We are currently accepting applications for part-time positions in SPARK Club, an after school enrichment program for kids with disabilities.

Responsibilities include providing individualized support, monitoring safety, leading activities, participating in community field trips, and transporting clients home.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, pass a thorough background check, and complete CPR/First Aid training. Applicants must possess or be working towards a degree in  Recreation, Education, Human Services, or related fields of study. Applicants must be able to work at least 2 out of the 4 days from 2:45 p.m – 6:45 p.m. SPARK Club  runs in conjunction with the St. Louis Public Schools calendar. Experience working with children with disabilities is preferred but not required. LifeBridge is an equal opportunity employer.
