This is increasingly becoming a rather extraordinary time. Worldwide people are processing all the changes that COVID-19 brings to daily life – remote work, distance learning, social distancing and where did all the toilet paper go?!? But life does press on.
During this new, but temporary, normal, our top priority at LifeBridge Partnership is the health and safety of our clients and staff. You may have seen a previous announcement that we suspended all face-to-face program services through March 31, 2020. In light of recent “stay at home” announcements from government entities, we will extend the suspension until it is safe for us to resume community-based services. Additionally, we have closed our offices to the public and staff members are working remotely from home.
While we may be taking a break from face-to-face programming and working in our office space, we are keeping busy. Staff members are using this time to stay in frequent contact with clients to ensure they have what they need to be healthy and safe at home. We are exploring ways to conduct virtual social programming so our clients can stay connected and engaged with one another. Additionally, staff members are using this time to complete some important administrative projects and professional learning.
We are ready to resume full services at a moment’s notice, but in the meantime will continue to monitor, communicate, and share information with you.
