The Young Professional Board (YPB) of LifeBridge is conducting the first annual LifeBridge YPB Bar Golf on Saturday, September 29 from 12:00 to 5:00 pm in the Soulard neighborhood. This event will be filled with the fun of a bar crawl with a little added competition.
The YPB Bar Golf is similar to your average bar crawl but with a twist. Teams will consist of four people and will receive a scorecard at the beginning of the event. The scorecard will have pre-determined drinks at each bar that each team will have to order and finish in order to get their “score” for the “hole” (bar). For example, at Bar A, one beer split between the team will earn you a +1 (bogey); two beers will be a score of 0 (par); three beers will be a score of -1 (birdie); and four beers split between the team will be a score of -2 (eagle). Teams will have to work together to determine what drinks they will order at each bar. At the end of the event, the team with the lowest score will win. A tie breaker will be used if more than one team has the low score.
We will have prizes for the winning team as well as the best dressed team and best dressed individual golfer.
A raffle will be held for Cardinals jersey, Blues tickets, Missouri Lotto Scratch-off Ticket Board, and other items.
The registration fee is $20 for a team paid in advance or $30 the day of the event. Registration and payment below.
McGurk’s Irish Pub and Garden will be the starting and end point of the course. We will add the participating bars to the website over the next several weeks. We expect to have 6-9 bars participating in Bar Golf. We will update the list of bars as we confirm sponsors. You can also visit LifeBridge Facebook event for more details related to Bar Golf.
